UPDATE: Southington Linear Trail Sections Close For Repairs Starting Today

Portions of Southington's Linear Trail will close as sidewalk and paving work begins.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Portions of Southington’s Linear Trail will be temporarily closed as repair work begins Thursday, March 26, according to the Southington Police Department.

Officials said affected sections of the trail will be closed to the public while crews carry out improvements.

Work will begin simultaneously in two areas: the Canal Street section, where crews will remove and re-pour sidewalks, and the Summer Street section, where paving is scheduled.
