'Urgent Need:' Southington Community Services Seeking Food Donations

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Southington Community Services is asking residents to help replenish its food supplies, highlighting several pantry staples that are urgently needed.

The town department recently issued an "Urgent Need" appeal seeking donations of nonperishable food for residents and families.

Items currently needed include:

• Canned soup
• Rice and side dishes
• Pasta
• Boxed cereals

Donations can be dropped off at the Southington Community Services Department, 91 Norton St. in Plantsville.
