Vacuum Theft Suspect Identified In Southington: Police: UPDATE
The male suspect, whose image was released last week, raided the Southington Target store the same day.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Local police said they have now identified a man captured on surveillance who is believed to have stolen several vacuum cleaners from a local Target store.
The Southington Police Department Feb. 11 released an image of the male suspect taken off the store's surveillance system.
On Friday night, Feb. 14, the SPD said the man has been identified, citing the help of the public.

Police said an arrest warrant is being submitted to the New Britain Superior Court for his arrest.
"The Southington Police Department would once again like to thank the valuable members of our community for their routine participation and assistance in these types of investigations," wrote the SPD.

Police said the suspect shoplifted approximately $950 worth of Dyson vacuum cleaners from Target, located at 600 Executive Blvd. in Southington.
According to the SPD, the theft occurred on Tuesday, Feb. 11, at approximately 6:30 p.m.
Police said the suspect was seen leaving in an unknown model White Nissan SUV.
