Vehicle Blaze Cleared On I-84 In Southington: UPDATE

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A vehicle fire on Interstate 84 in Southington caused some traffic issues Monday morning, according to the state Department of Transportation, but it is now cleared.

The DOT reports the fire was on I-84 East between exits 30 and 31, resulting in closure to the right shoulder.

The fire was first reported at 8:57 a.m. and it is now no longer listed on the DOT's incident report.
