Vehicle Slams Home, 1 Dead In New Britain: Reports

NEW BRITAIN, CT — One person was killed in a single-vehicle accident in New Britain late Thursday night, according to multiple media reports.

WFSB Channel 3 reported that the accident happened Thursday night on Slater Road in the city, with the vehicle reportedly exiting the road and slamming into a home's concrete steps.

WTNH Channel 8 reported a male was pronounced dead at the scene, with a female passenger injured in the accident.

The New Britain Police Department is reportedly investigating the accident.
