Volunteers welcome at Hartford HealthCare's senior communities
Mulberry Gardens, The Orchards and Southington Care Center (Hartford HealthCare Senior Services) seek volunteers to share time and talents.

SOUTHINGTON – Hartford HealthCare Senior Services adult communities are looking for volunteers interested in interacting with older adults and assisting at activities and events. Opportunities are available at Mulberry Gardens of Southington, The Orchards at Southington and Southington Care Center.
Mulberry Gardens, located at 58 Mulberry St., is seeking volunteers for residents and members of the Adult Day Center in recreation, events, arts and crafts, evening bingo and more. For more information, call Donna Johnson, activities director, at 860.276.1020.
The Orchards at Southington, 34 Hobart St., is welcoming a volunteer pianist to lead singalongs twice a month. Other areas of interest are welcome. For more information, contact Carol Volpe, activities director, at 860.628.5656.

Southington Care Center, located at 45 Meriden Ave., is welcoming musicians, artist assistants, transporters, out trip escorts, pet therapy visitors, gardeners, morning devotions leaders, bowling helpers, and one-on-one resident visitors. To support the Music & Memory program, individuals are needed to interview family members to select music choices to be compiled on residents’ personal listening devices.
