Water Main Break In Southington Impacts Service

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A water main break in Southington caused a water service disruption in one neighborhood Thursday morning.

According to Southington Water Works, the break was in front of 465 Berlin St.

The break, officials said, affected water service for a half hour between Pleasant Street and Stonegate Road along Berlin Street.

The water department had work crews on the scene.

Water officials issued an alert via social media after about 9:30 a.m. Thursday.
