Water Main Cleaning Continues In Southington

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Town officials have unveiled another long list of streets that could be impacted by ongoing water main cleaning this week.

The Southington Water Department Monday unveiled an updated list of streets that could be impacted during the week ending on Sunday, Oct. 2.

All total, the town released a list of 132 Southington streets that could be impacted.

According to the water department, users should check their water before doing any laundry and to "excuse any temporary discoloration."

The water department said the list of roads to be impacted are in no particular order and the scope of the water main cleaning is dependent on weather and staff availability.
