Water Main Cleaning Impacts Customers On 111 Southington Streets

Residents this week should be wary of any water discoloration through April 22.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Residents on 111 local streets are being asked to keep an eye on their water as the Southington Water Department begins a new round of water main cleaning.

Those 111 streets are being impacted by work that is happening this week and slated to end Saturday, April 22.

Water department officials especially ask that customers check their water for any temporary discoloration prior to doing laundry.

They said folks should "excuse any temporary discoloration."

The town also said the listed streets on the notice will be impacted in no particular order and the work is based on staff availability and weather conditions.
