Water Main Work Impacting 79 Southington Streets This Week

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Planned water main cleaning will impact homes and buildings on about 79 Southington streets this week.

The Southington Water Department recently announced its water main cleaning schedule that will take place through Saturday, Sept. 5.

According to the water department, water customers are being asked to check the water before doing any laundry, as there will be some temporary water discoloration.

Water department officials said the listed streets will not be impacted in any particular order and the water main cleaning is based on both weather and available staff.
