Who Toppled A Moose Statue? Southington Police Want To Know
The Southington Police Department said it's investigating the vandalism of a moose statue that also damaged a TV at a local business.
SOUTHINGTON, CT — Local police are investigating a bizarre incident Wednesday night that saw a moose statue toppled over and a television set smashed at a local recreational establishment.
The Southington Police Department said Thursday morning it is investigating the incident inside 1 Center Place, near the Montana Nights axe-throwing complex.
Montana Nights offers organized axe-throwing, which is a growing pastime, and also is a bar.

The incident, reportedly, happened at 9:16 p.m. and police posted images of persons captured on the surveillance camera who are either considered suspects or witnesses.
Police said a large, hand-carved moose statue was pushed over and the faux Alces then crashed into a television set, both the moose and the TV being damaged.

The SPD is asking that anyone who recognizes the people in the images posted on the department's Facebook page to give them a call.
