Woman Facing Drug Charges After Arrest At Southington Hotel: Cops
A woman found asleep inside a car in a hotel parking lot in Southington is facing several criminal charges, police said.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A woman found asleep inside a car in a hotel parking lot in Southington is facing several criminal charges, police said.
At 8:56 a.m. Wednesday, Amy Arnett, 31 of New Britain, was arrested and charged with
ciminal impersonation, the use of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance and illegal possession of prescription drugs, a report indicates.

Arnett was was held on a $1,000 bond and was to appear in court Thursday, police said. A $100,000 bond was added when local police discovered she was wanted out of Bristol Superior Court for failing to appear, police said.
Southington police on Wednesday morning went to the Residence Inn parking lot, 778 West St., after receiving a report about a woman, later identified as Arnett, "passed out" inside a vehicle, according to a report.

When they were able wake Arnett up and question her, officers noticed wax paper folds "commonly used in the storage and sale of heroin" inside the vehicle. Officers also observed brass wires inside the vehicle consistent with those used in a glass cylinder for smoking crack cocaine. according to a report.
When asked for identification, Arnett said she had none and gave police the name and birth date of another person, a reportsd says.
Police then searched the car and found suspected crack cocaine on a seat, wax folds containing suspected heroin, a plastic bag containing suspected marijuana, two Oxycodone Hydrochloride pills and a glass cylinder commonly used to smoke crack cocaine, according to a report.
