Woman Winds Up On Car's Hood During Dispute With Driver: Police
A man in a car is facing several charges after a dispute with a woman on foot, Southington police said.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A woman wound up on the hood of a car during a dispute with a Southington man who was continually approaching her with his vehicle, a police report indicates.
Police released the details of the April 14 incident on Tuesday.
Connor Trzcinski, 20, of Southington was charged with disorderly conduct, first-degree reckless endangerment, interfering with an officer and criminal attempt to commit assault in the second degree.

The charges resulted from a dispute between Trzcinski and a woman, police said. According to a report, during the dispute, Trzcinski was pulling his vehicle forward toward the woman.
The woman backed up several steps, but Trzcinki again pulled the vehicle toward her, according to a report. The woman, who told police she was worried about being run over, then jumped onto the hood of the vehicle, causing minor damage, a report indicates.

The woman was not injured police said.
When police arrived at the scene Trzcinski refused to exit his vehicle or even open the door, according to a report.
Trzcinski eventually exited the vehicle and was taken into custody, police said. His initial bond of $25,000 was reduced to a promise to appear at his arraignment with a June 8 return date, judicial system records indicate.
