Women Invited To Learn Self-Defense In Southington
The Southington Police Department is seeking sign-ups for a women's self-defense program next month.
SOUTHINGTON, CT — Sign-ups are being sought by the Southington Police Department for another free, women's self-defense class that will begin next month.
Space is limited to only 20, so prompt registration is recommended.
The classes, to be taught by members of the SPD, will be at the Calendar House, 388 Pleasant St., Southington.

The program will take place Tuesday evenings on Feb. 7, 14, 21 and 28 from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
"It is mandatory to attend all four classes," wrote the SPD, adding athletic wear is the recommended clothing.

Registration will be on a first-come, first-serve basis.
