CANCELLED: Women should know breast health basics

SOUTHINGTON – A free program about the importance of knowing about breast health will be held Thursday, Aug. 25, 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., Calendar House, 388 Pleasant St. Facilitator Tina Rodriguez has been community outreach educator for breast health for seven years with MidState Medical Center and Hartford HealthCare Cancer Institute. In this role, she educates women on the steps they can take to stay healthy, and the significance of early detection and prevention of breast cancer. Hartford HealthCare Senior Services is sponsoring this event.
