43-Year-Old Accused Of Voyeurism At South Windsor Kids Store
A 43-year-old Hartford man has been charged with voyeurism in South Windsor.

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — A 43-year-old Hartford man has been charged with voyeurism after an incident at a second-hand teen clothing store in South Windsor, police said.
Epifanio Mendez was also charged with risk of injury to a minor and more charges could be added after a "forensic review of his cell phone," police said. The voyeurism charges were with malice, police said.
At 2 p.m. on Sunday, police received a complaint from Plato's Closet, 70 Buckland Road, about a "suspicious man." When officers arrived, the man was still there and the mother of a child who was trying on clothes was accusing him of attempting to take pictures of the child, according to police.

The store manager also complained about the man's actions, police said. Mendez is accused of trying to take photos through a small gap in a changing room stall divider, according to police.
Photos were "not readily available" on his phone, but the phone was confiscated and will be reviewed, police said.
