Absentee Ballots For The Nov. 3 Election On The Way To South Windsor Voters' Mailboxes
Use of the official ballot drop box located outside Town Hall is highly encouraged.

Beginning October 2nd, Absentee Ballots will be mailed to registered voters who have completed and returned a valid Absentee Ballot application.

The Town Clerk’s office will mail the voter an envelope that will contain the following items:
- Ballot Box Insert (colored slip of paper with ballot and ballot box information)
- Instructions for Absentee Voting
- Inner Return Envelope (labeled Envelope B in the upper left corner of the envelope)
- Ballot
- Outer Return Envelope (labeled Envelope C in the upper left corner of the envelope)
Please be sure to read and follow the instructions carefully which include signing the INNER envelope.

Once a voter has completed their Absentee Ballot (and followed the instructions regarding the ballot and envelopes), they can return it in one of three ways:
- Return the ballot using the US Mail
- Return the ballot using the Official Ballot Drop Box located outside Town Hall
- Return the ballot directly to the Town Clerk’s office in person
We are highly encouraging the use of the Official Ballot Drop Box located outside Town Hall.

Please note that if you choose not to vote by Absentee Ballot, the polls will be open on November 3, 2020 from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
