SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — In response to residents' needs and the challenges of adapting to modified work schedules brought on by the coronavirus pandemic, operating hours at the South Windsor Town Hall and Annex have been extended to 7 p.m. on Mondays.

Remaining open on Monday evenings will allow residents and patrons an additional opportunity, outside of normal working hours, to complete their business, according to an announcement from Town Manager Michael Maniscalco.

"We all need to be more flexible as we deal with these unprecedented times. The modification of Town Hall and Annex hours is an example of that. I would like to thank our non-union staff who were willing to once again, go above and beyond, by flexing their hours to better serve our residents," Maniscalco said in a written statement.
