American Eagle FCU Fund Awards $3,000 Grant to South Windsor Food & Fuel Bank

The American Eagle Federal Credit Union Fund at the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving awarded a $3,000 grant to the South Windsor Food and Fuel Bank on September 24th at the Credit Union’s new community branch at 530 Buckland Road in South Windsor.

“We are grateful to the Credit Union for this generous donation to the Food and Fuel Bank. One hundred percent of this money will be put back into the community to help those South Windsor residents in need,” said Dennis Sheridan, Director of Human Services for the Town of South Windsor.

“Providing this charitable grant to the Food and Fuel Bank put the finishing touch on the process of building and opening a new Credit Union office in South Windsor. We plan to be providing the residents of South Windsor with banking services and community involvement for many years to come,” said William Dokas, President and CEO of American Eagle Federal Credit Union.
