SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — Route 5 at Strong Road has reopened following a Wednesday morning motor vehicle crash, South Windsor police said.
Police had closed Route 5 northbound at Strong Road while conducting a crash investigation and advised drivers to use alternate routes.
Lt. Mark Cleverdon, the department's public information officer, said no serious injuries were reported. Two people were taken to the hospital.
Police announced that the roadway had reopened and thanked drivers for their patience.
