SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — A South Windsor man was extradited from Chicago to face charges accusing him of biting two juveniles in separate incidents, police said.
Abdulrahman Alnahari, 32, was arrested shortly after 6:15 p.m. Tuesday on two active warrants, according to South Windsor police.
The charges stem from a July investigation in which police said Alnahari bit two juvenile victims on separate occasions. Police obtained two warrants following the investigation.
Alnahari was later taken into custody in Chicago and flown back to Connecticut, police said. Authorities did not disclose why he was in Illinois or provide further details about the circumstances surrounding the alleged incidents.
He was charged with two counts of risk of injury to a minor and third-degree assault.
Alnahari was being held on a $275,000 surety bond and was scheduled to appear Wednesday morning in Manchester Superior Court.
The charges are allegations, and Alnahari is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
