• South Windsor Man Extradited From Chicago In Child-Biting Case (patch.com) — South Windsor police say a local man has been extradited from Chicago to face charges that he bit two juveniles in separate incidents investigated in July. The 32-year-old is charged with risk of injury to a minor and third-degree assault, held on a substantial bond, and scheduled for arraignment in Manchester, while remaining presumed innocent under the law.
   

• Woman arrested on theft charge in South Windsor (newportdispatch.com) — Police say a Hartford woman has been charged in connection with a 2025 shoplifting incident at the Target on Buckland Hills Drive in South Windsor, and she's now facing a larceny conspiracy count in Manchester court. In a separate case, a 75-year-old South Windsor man was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving on Ellington Road and is due in court later this month.
