Area Teams Qualify for Lacrosse, Volleyball State Tournaments

With regular season play beginning to wind down, high school teams are looking forward to the upcoming state tournaments, and nearly three dozen squads from Hartford and Tolland counties have already qualified for postseason play in boys and girls lacrosse and boys volleyball.

The CIAC admits any team which wins at least 40 percent of its games into the state tournaments.
