Attempted Theft Of ATM Being Investigated By South Windsor Police

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — Police are investigating an attempted theft of an automated teller machine from a Sullivan Avenue bank branch early Friday morning.

Around 2 a.m., an unknown number of persons in a vehicle unsuccessfully attempted to steal the outside machine from the Berkshire Bank at 1000 Sullivan Avenue, Sgt. Mark Cleverdon said.

Police were looking to obtain video of the incident from the bank Friday morning, Cleverdon said.
