South Windsor Hockey Pee Wee A's Tournament Champs

Busy Thanksgiving weekend for South Windsor Youth Hockey.

The long Thanksgiving weekend was busy and successful for South Windsor Youth Hockey.

Five South Windsor hockey teams traveled to Exeter, New Hampshire, for a long weekend hockey tournament that involved over 65 youth hockey teams from around the northeast region.

The South Windsor teams played hard and the kids had a great time, all culminating with the South Windsor Pee Wee A (12 and under) team winning the championship for their division.  Big congratulations to them!!!

Over the Thanksgiving weekend, on Sunday, the South Windsor In-House 2 players participated in the 5th Annual Mini-Mite Jamboree at the International Skating Center in Simsbury.  These young skaters played in three 30 minute small area cross-ice games.  These younger and newer hockey players enjoyed having a tournament of their own.

This week has all of the South Windsor Youth Hockey teams back on a full practice schedule with an upcoming weekend of numerous games.

Also, this weekend, the In-House 1 team will begin a new session to include current In-House 1 skaters and also our newest skaters who have completed the Learn to Skate program.  It is not too late to register for In-House 1, Session II, at http://www.swhockey.com/Page.asp?n=12992&snid=dJF%40S%3FE4V&org=swhockey.com.
