The SW Panthers A team went to 4-0 on Sunday defeating Berlin 22-7. On offense the Panthers were led by Jake Sylvester's 2 touchdowns. Connor Dunn was a key player down the stretch when the panthers went on a 90 yard drive to take control of the game. Also playing well for the Panthers were Andrew DeCasperis, Zack Pragosa, Brendan Mabey, Judah Parkyn, Muhammad Hassan, Jake Lavoie, and Luke Gioffre, who converted 2 pats. On defense the Panthers forced four turnovers and for the second straight week stopped their opponent inside the ten yard line on downs. Randy Holmes had two interceptions, one returned for a touchdown and Matty Mulcahy also had an interception. The Panthers defense received standout play Damian Gilnack, Dylan Guerrette, Levi Garner, Ben Custer, David DeMartino and Michael Foley. The Panther host Rocky Hill this Sunday, 11am at Rye St park.

The young South Windsor Mighty Mites fall to a talented Berlin Bears Team 13 -7.
The Panthers suffered a big blow early in the game with an injury to their talented center Tito Aviles who had to leave the game with broken wrist. Fortunately for the Panthers, Anthony Salvatore stepped in and played great at center.

The offensive line now anchored by Anthony Salvatore with help from Derek Davis, Kevin Brass and Sam Pines opened up holes for the tough running Hakim Montgomery, Cole Higgins and Ben Brochu. The South Windsor touchdown came from a long run by Trevor Kniffen and an extra point by Cole Higgins.
The defensive unit played tough all day as they tried to match up with Berlin. A strong linebacker crew headed by Trevor Kniffen, Ben Brochu and Cole Higgins played hard all day with help from Daniel Kennedy, Trevor Lussier, Michael Marsh, Michael Foran, Logan Cirelli, Tony DeMartino, Ryan Weathers, Jacob Yustinich and Connor Rankin.
