South Windsor Panthers Youth Football Week 3

SOUTH WINDSOR PANTHERS YOUTH FOOTBALL

South Windsor A team

The SW Panthers A team were led By Connor Dunn's 2 touchdowns in a 30-13 victory against the Vernon Vipers on Saturday night.

Also scoring touchdowns for the Panthers were Jake Sylvester and Randy Holmes.

Luke Gioffre added 3 pats for the panthers who also received fine play on offense from Brendan Mabey, Judah Parkyn , Michael Foley and Muhammad Hassan.

On defense the Panthers were led by Damian Gilnack, Dylan Guerrette, David DeMartino and Levi Garner.

The South Windsor Panthers B GOLD team

The South Windsor Panthers B Gold team recorded their third straight shutout, defeating Berlin 2 by a score of 33-0. The defense was led by Cornerback Connor Race, Defensive Tackles Eddie Cheatem and Stephen Rosenbaum, and Defensive End Chris Pile. Also, Free Safety Tyler Osit was able to pick off a Berlin pass.

On the offensive side of the ball, Kahil Montgomery scored three touchdowns and EJ Kelly and Jeremiah Taylor had one each.  Once again the offensive line was anchored by Center Tanner Kobbrzcki, Tight Ends Grant Willard, Kyle West, Trevor McCarty and Fullbacks Shai Harrison and Ankit Saini.

South Windsor Mighty Mites

The young South Windsor Mighty Mites fall to a talented Vernon Viper Team 26-6.

The defensive unit played tough all day as they tried to match up with the Vipers. A strong Linebacker crew headed by Trevor Kniffen, Ben Brochu and Cole Higgins played hard all day with help from Daniel Kennedy, Trevor Lussier, Michael Marsh, Michael Foran, Logan Cirelli, Tony DeMartino and Connor Rankin.

The offensive line was anchored by Tito Aviles, Anthony Salvatore, Derek Davis, Kevin Brass and Sam Pines who opened up holes for the tough running  Hakim Montgomery, Cole Higgins and Ben Brochu. The South Windsor touchdown came from a long run by Trevor Kniffen.
