The Spring Festival 2013. Children from Greater Hartford area played beautiful Baroque music. I signed up 12 of my students. The event took place on March 16, 2013, at Asylum Hill Congragational Church in Hartford.

The Festival went very well, as it was intended: a rewarding non-competitive event that will stimulate our young performers to expand their repertoire as they strive toward musical excellence.

Purpose The Spring Festival is offered in order to stimulate young local
musicians to expand their repertoire and to strive towards excellence through
an annual non-competitive event.

Structure The Spring Festival will offer a four year rotation through the major periods
of classical music.  2013 will feature the Baroque Period.

Year 2014 is going to be a period of Classical music.

I had such a great time as a Chair of this event this year. And I look forward to organaze our next year Spring Festival as well. Maybe I will see you there!
