We're supporting Kevin McCann for Probate Judge

On August 21^st the voters of Windsor, East Windsor and South Windsor will have an opportunity to select a Probate Judge to serve the three town area.  We would like to recommend Attorney Kevin McCann for this important position because of his outstanding personal and professional qualifications.

We first recognized Kevin’s personal standards on a hot summer evening when he had volunteered to help out with a mailing at our home.  He arrived at 7:30 in his business suit and without supper.  He had come directly from an over-long day at his law firm and, because he had made a commitment, reported for another few hours of work.  As time went on, he exhibited that same work ethic and commitment as Vice Chairman of the Parks & Recreation Commission, as Chairman of the Planning & Zoning Commission (thanks for bringing us Evergreen Walk!) and as Town Councilman, all between 1995 and the present.

Kevin has been recognized for his legal skill and professionalism through the years, most recently in the July issue of Hartford Magazine, which again listed Kevin as a Top Attorney in Trusts & Estates in the Greater Hartford Region.  Kevin’s peers in the legal profession have given him the highest ratings for professionalism and ethics for more than ten years.

While most of us manage to avoid Criminal Court, Bankruptcy Court and Housing Court, there is a good chance that our estates will eventually end up in Probate
Court. It is there that the outstanding personal and professional qualifications of the Probate Judge will make a big difference.  We hope you will join us in voting for Attorney Kevin McCann on August 21^st.
