State Bond Commission Approves VMP Funding
Veterans Memorial Park Wall will honor service and sacrifice of South Windsor Veterans.
BREAKING NEWS – Today, the State Bond Commission approved $75,000 for “a grant-in-aid to the Town of South Windsor to assist with construction of a Veterans Memorial in Veterans Memorial Park.”
The Veterans Memorial will better define and improve the memorial area at Veterans Memorial Park, and is inspired by the Korean and Vietnam Memorials in Washington, DC with a targeted completion date of Memorial Day 2016. To find out more about The Veterans Memorial please click here.
