Bulk Trash Collection in South Windsor Next Week

The next Bulky Waste Collection in South Windsor will take place during the week of Monday, April 6, on trash collection day.

Pickup for condominiums will be on Friday, April 10 (including Plum Ridge Condominiums), according to the Public Works Department. It is not necessary to schedule a bulky waste collection. Place the item(s) curbside or by the dumpster by 7 a.m. for collection.

The scrap metal collection will be on Wednesday, April 7. Metal pickup must be arranged by contacting the Public Works Department or complete online form. Up until noontime Tuesday to arrange for metal pickup.

We remind residents that the refuse and recycling containers must be placed at the curb no more than three feet from the curb or edge of the road for collection. Please DO NOT place containers in the streets. Placing the containers on the streets narrows the roads for traffic flow which may lead to having it damaged from autos or during snow removal.
