The Friends of the South Windsor Public Library is excited to participate in the South Windsor Town-Wide tag sale on August 8th, 2026.The theme this year is “Christmas in August” and the Friends of the South Windsor Public Library will have a selection of books, along with other items. You can also purchase a ticket for a chance to win a beautiful tin Christmas Train.
Stop by the Library anytime between 9:30 AM and 2 PM to search for great bargains, holiday treasures or simply to support the South Windsor Public Library.
Also, mark your calendar and save the date for the next Book for Lunch. The Friends will feature Albert Ruggeriero of Milford Connecticut, author of Pearls from Carol, at the next Book for Lunch on Thursday, September 3rd, 2026. The book is a collection of short stories offering inspiration, common sense and humor. Bring your lunch at 12:30 PM and the program will begin at 1:00 PM. The Friends will provide beverages and desserts.
