2026 Dollars for Scholars
Friends of the South Windsor Public Library awarded Dollars for Scholars scholarships to four outstanding local students. The four students demonstrated hard work, community service and a dedication for learning. The four students receiving the scholarships are:
(1) The Friends of the South Windsor Public Library in honor or Mary J. Etter presented the scholarship to,
Mihika Joshi who will attend Northeastern University to pursue a degree in International Business.
(2) The Friends of the South Windsor Public Library - Margaret (Marge) Pane Memorial Scholarship was presented to,
Andrew Butryman who will attend Eastern Connecticut State University to pursue a degree in Elementary School Education.
(3) The Friends of the South Windsor Public Library Scholarship in Memory of Mary L. Sullivan was presented to,
Emily Porter who will attend Tufts University to pursue a degree in English.
(4) The Friends of the South Windsor Public Library – Nancy C. Braender Memorial Scholarship was presented to,
Sarah Hall who will attend Ithaca College to pursue a degree in Music Education.
