Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester NY
- Glenn Bittner of South Windsor graduated from RIT with a BS in chemical engineering.
Some 3,500 undergraduate and graduate students received their degrees during RIT's 132nd commencement celebration in May.

- Eight students from South Windsor recently graduated from SCSU. They are Christine Allard, Jennifer Belanger, Lauren Christensen, Amanda Gemme, Aubrie Mazur, Caitlin McAvoy, Stephanie Russo and Scott Thibault.
University of Rhode Island, Kingston RI
- At the University of Rhode Island's 131st Commencement on Saturday and Sunday, May 20-21, 2017, about 2,600 undergraduate and 650 graduate students became the University's newest alumni. South Windsor students who graduated are Benjamin Jeffrey Williams, Bachelor of Science, Business Administration, Finance (BSBA); Olivia Rose Jones, Bachelor of Science, Communicative Disorders Magna Cum Laude; Sara Nicole Sica, Bachelor of Science, Human Development and Family Studies; Andrew Brian King, Bachelor of Science, Kinesiology Magna Cum Laude; Vanessa Marie Freeman, Bachelor of Science, Nursing Magna Cum Laude; and Elicia Helene Nardini, Bachelor of Science, Nursing. Students who received the honor summa cum laude graduated with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.7; students who received the honor of magna cum laude graduated with a GPA of at least 3.50; and students who received the honor of cum laude graduated with a GPA of at least 3.3.
