SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — College students from South Windsor recently achieved these notable accomplishments, as reported by readMedia Newswire.

Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT

• A total of four players from undefeated Little East Conference regular-season champion Eastern Connecticut State University earned spots on the IWLCA (Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association) Division III Academic Honor Roll in 2017. Senior defender Taylor Pendergast of South Windsor repeated the recognition in her second year of eligibility; she majored in Early Childhood Education and Psychology. Qualifiers need to reach junior eligibility with cumulative 3.50+ grade-point averages through this past spring. A total of 531 student-athletes representing 156 schools comprised the Division III academic team.

Hofstra University, Hempstead NY

• Liana Wilson of South Windsor graduated from Hofstra University in May 2017, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.

Ithaca College, Ithaca NY

• Sara Jackson, an Integrated Marketing Communications major, was named to the Dean's List in Ithaca College's School of Communications for the spring 2017 semester.
