Campus Notes - South Windsor College Students

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — Here are some recent notable achievements for college students from South Windsor, as reported by readMedia Newswire.

Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester NY

• Three South Windsor residents made the Dean's List at Rochester Institute of Technology for fall semester 2016-2017. They are Jason Beaulieu, who is studying in the computing and information technologies program; Glenn Bittner, who is studying in the chemical engineering program; and Alexander Griswold, who is studying in the film and animation program. Degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Dean's List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of "Incomplete", "D" or "F"; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.

Tulane University, New Orleans LA

• Ethan Gasta of South Windsor, a junior Engineering Physics major at Tulane University, was a member of the winning team for NASA’s BIG Idea Challenge. He and his teammates will receive paid internships with NASA during the summer of 2017 at the NASA Research Center in San Jose, California or the Langley Research Center in Virginia.
