Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT

• Eighteen psychology students from Eastern Connecticut State University traveled to Hawaii this May and studied cross-cultural differences related to well-being and relationships. Among the travelers was Ashley Williams of South Windsor, who majors in Psychology. From western and native-Hawaiian perspectives, the Eastern students examined topics such as parenting and attachment styles, social support, emotional expression, romantic relationships and more.

Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta GA

• Catalina Nguyen of South Windsor made the Dean's List for the spring 2017 semester at the Georgia Institute of Technology. This designation is awarded to undergraduate students who have a 3.0 or higher academic average for the semester.

Husson University, Bangor ME

• South Windsor resident Jamie Venezia has been named to Husson University's Dean's List for the spring 2017 semester. Venezia is a sophomore who is currently enrolled in Husson's Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology-Human Movement Science/Doctor of Physical Therapy program. Students who make the Dean's List must carry at least 12 graded credit hours during the semester and earn a grade point average of between 3.60 to 3.79 during the period.

Roger Williams University, Bristol RI

• Five students from South Windsor have been named to the spring 2017 Dean's List at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I.: Joseph Brouwer, Haley DelGreco, Haley Geithner, Tyler Sarra and Katelyn Whitin. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a GPA of 3.4 or higher are placed on the Dean's List that semester.

St. Lawrence University, Canton NY

• Brooke A. Wolejko of South Windsor has been selected for inclusion on St. Lawrence University's Dean's List for academic achievement during the spring 2017 semester. Wolejko is a member of the Class of 2018 and is majoring in psychology. Wolejko attended Westminster School. To be eligible for the Dean's List, a student must have completed at least four courses and have an academic average of 3.6 based on a 4.0 scale for the semester.

University of Albany, Albany NY

• The University at Albany congratulates more than 3,400 students who were named to the spring 2017 Dean's List. Marissa Nowell of South Windsor is included on the Dean's List for this semester. Students named to the Dean's List earned at least a 3.5 GPA.
