SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

American International College, Springfield MA

• Kyle Dorsey, of South Windsor, received a doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from American International College at the 134th Commencement ceremony in May. More than 600 undergraduate and graduate degrees were awarded by the College, with students representing 22 states and nine countries.
• Bishop Bryan, of South Windsor, is among 463 students who have been named to the spring 2019 Dean's List at American International College. Dean's List students are full time students who have achieved a 3.3 to 4.0 GPA.

Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT

• Eastern Connecticut State University's Social Work Program held its annual Phi Alpha Honor Society Induction ceremony on May 18 in the Betty Tipton Room of the Student Center. At the ceremony 38 new members were inducted into the Phi Alpha Honor Society for Social work. Among the inductees was Haley Krol of South Windsor, who majors in Social Work.

Siena College, Loudonville NY

• Michael Stoker was named to the Siena College President's List for the spring 2019 semester. Stoker is from South Windsor. The President's List requires a 3.9 grade point average or higher.

University of Vermont, Burlington VT

• Some 3,275 students, including six from South Windsor, were awarded degrees during the University of Vermont's 218th commencement ceremonies. David Caye graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration; Brittany Henderson graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Professional Nursing; Julia Hurd graduated with a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Science & Disorders; Brenna Reagan graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Studies; Eric Roback graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering; and Alexander Wing graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
