Charity Stroll Returning To Evergreen Walk
The event will include food, drinks and raffle opportunities while supporting a Hartford-area nonprofit.
SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — A charity stroll is returning to Evergreen Walk with a milestone goal this year.
The Greater Hartford Association of REALTORS Foundation will host its 10th annual Stroll for Charity from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 10, at Evergreen Walk in South Windsor, according to event materials.
The event will benefit Chrysalis Center, which helps people living in poverty, veterans, women and children, young adults, and people facing mental health, addiction, HIV/AIDS, homelessness and re-entry challenges.

Through job training, housing and other community health services, Chrysalis Center helps people work toward more stable lives, according to the foundation.
Organizers said the goal is to raise $10,000 in honor of the event’s 10th anniversary.

The foundation is seeking donations of products, services or gift cards, all of which are tax deductible, according to the sponsor letter.
Businesses that support the event can receive recognition through the GHAR weekly newsletter, social media tags, event signage and other sponsorship benefits, depending on the sponsorship level.
Sponsorship levels include Last Stop Sponsor for $1,000, Restaurant Sponsor for $500 and House Sponsor for $250, according to the event flyer.
Event materials said more than 60 people are expected to attend. The sponsor letter said businesses can gain exposure to more than 70 REALTORS and community supporters, along with newsletter recognition reaching more than 5,100 members.
Raffle prizes are encouraged, and food and drinks are included, according to the flyer.
