Business Eyes South Windsor Location

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — A new Club Pilates studio is planned for South Windsor, according to the company’s website.

Club Pilates lists a “coming soon” South Windsor location at 245 Gateway Boulevard, with contact information for the future studio. The site is part of The Gateway, a retail and office development taking shape near Gateway Boulevard and Buckland Road.

An opening date for the South Windsor studio was not listed on the company’s website.

Club Pilates offers Reformer Pilates-based workouts and a variety of classes, including low-impact, full-body workouts for different ages and fitness levels, according to the company.

Town planning records show The Gateway development includes properties at 200, 205, 220 and 245 Gateway Boulevard and 274 Buckland Road. The project includes a mix of retail and office space, according to South Windsor planning documents.

Planning and Zoning Commission records reviewed by Patch confirm the larger development, though the town documents reviewed did not specifically identify Club Pilates as a tenant.

The proposed studio would add another fitness option to the growing commercial area near Buckland Road, where new retail and restaurant space has been moving through the local land-use process.
