Assumption College, Worcester MA
- During the month-long winter break, Gina Marie Savino, of South Windsor, participated in a week-long service immersion trip through Assumption College's SEND program. Savino was a member of the group that traveled to Tuscaloosa, Alabama, to work with tornado relief organizations such as Habitat for Humanity to understand the ongoing effort to rebuild Tuscaloosa. The students also immersed themselves in Alabama culture, visiting places like Montgomery to learn about the history of the Civil Rights Movement.

- Timothy Lessard of South Windsor has been named to the Plymouth State University President's List for the fall 2019 semester. To be named to the President's List, a student must achieve a grade point average of 3.7 or better for the semester and must have attempted at least 12 credit hours during the semester. Lessard is a Communication Studies major at Plymouth State.
University of Vermont, Burlington VT
- Kyle King of South Windsor, Class of 2020, has been named to the dean's list for the fall 2019 semester at the University of Vermont. King is an Environmental Studies major in the College of Arts and Sciences. To be named to the dean's list, students must have a grade-point average of 3.0 or better and rank in the top 20 percent of their class in their respective college or school.
