College Students From South Windsor Achieve Milestones

Assumption College, Worcester MA

• The Assumption College Department of Athletics has announced that Matthew Dion, of South Windsor, has earned a spot on the 2019 Assumption men's soccer team. Dion, Class of 2023, is competing during the Greyhounds' fall season.

Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT

• The women's cross country team at Eastern Connecticut State University began its fall 2019 season with six new runners and nine returning runners. Among the student athletes is Jenna Chernik of South Windsor, who majors in Sociology.
