The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:

Accessible services for students and families during this ongoing pandemic! As a social worker, I have a vested interest in the social services we provide as a district. I think South Windsor has done a great job thus far, and would love to develop those kinds of aid.

Critical differences between me and my opponents:

I have graduated from South Windsor Schools in the past five years; I am interested in using mine and other student's experiences to work towards an even better school system.

Accomplishments:

I am a recent graduate from the University of Connecticut, where I got a Bachelor's degree in Urban and Community Studies, and a minor in Spanish.

What else would you like voters to know about you?

As a young, Puerto Rican woman, I am interested in continuing to expand on diversity initiatives within our staff. I believe all students deserve quality, equitable education, and where their identities can be recognized and valued.
