The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:
...addressing recent legislation passed by the State regarding adult use cannabis, accessory housing, and and multi-family housing. I make smart decisions whether or not South Windsor should exercise opt-out provisions based on fiscal impacts and impacts on the character of South Windsor.
Critical differences between me and my opponents:
I have over 20 years experience in planning and development and experience in working for municipal governments. I have a deep knowledge and understanding of municipal operations. I can apply this knowledge in setting realistic and achievable goals for the betterment of the community.
Accomplishments:
I have a proven track record of helping communities achieve their goals. As town planner in Berlin, helped stimulate growth, while bringing in over $33 million in development. As City Planner in Middletown I helped develop a Plan of Conservation of Development that focuses on sustainable growth, preservation of natural resources, and and economic development.
Other issues:
As a councilor I will work to minimize wasted time, money, and resources on personal projects of special interests and pursue only town business that is required by law, addresses actual needs of the community, and or adds value to South Windsor.
What else would you like voters to know about you?
My wife and I are residents of South Windsor for over 27 years and both attended South Windsor public schools. Besides my parents and family, South Windsor has influenced my life, family, and career more than any other person, place, and or thing. I owe it to the Town and its community to pay it forward and help make it somehow better for others.
