The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:

Public safety has become an increasing challenge in our community and our state. We need to take a hard line stance on this problem. I am a strong supporter of law enforcement and believe that we need to provide our department all the resources necessary to tackle this problem head on. As well as holding our state leaders accountable for policies that prevents them from doing their jobs.

Critical differences between me and my opponents:

I will always work on the side of fiscal responsibility. We have seen many examples of unnecessary and out of touch spending from the current administration. We have seen a significant growth in revenue, but with that growth has also come over spending that if not controlled, and may become unsustainable. I will also advocate for efficiency within our council. To prioritize the people's business rather than focus on special interest.

Accomplishments:

As a small business owner, I work every day to maintain profitable and fiscally responsible businesses. I know personally the issues and hardships that businesses and individuals have had to face over the past two years.

In South Windsor I serve on the Public Building Committee, and which has given me the opportunity to experience the development of our new elementary schools.

Other issues:

We are at a point in our town where over development has become a real concern. We have a fantastic school system with beautiful new schools that are already becoming bloated. While at the same time we continue to build and lose more open space. I will advocate for ways to prevent the over building of our town.

What else would you like voters to know about you?

I am proud to be a part of this community and to be raising our kids here. Our town will continue to grow and therefore we must all grow and evolve with it. I will always be an advocate for the safety of our neighborhoods and the success of our schools. And a supporter of SW families like ours. We can achieve this and still maintain a responsible government that is focused on its residents.
