Northern CT Youth String Orchestra auditions

Northern Connecticut Youth String Orchestra will be holding auditions for its 2^nd season on Saturday, September 22^nd, 2012 at 10:00am for violin • viola • cello • bass

Audition requirements:  One repertory piece of student’s choice and sight reading
NCYSO Under the direction of James Hasspacher

James Hasspacher holds a Master's of Music from Yale School of Music. He is the director of Orchestras at Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy & Assistant Principal Bassist of the Connecticut Virtuosi Chamber Ensemble.

Rehearsals:  Oct through June; Saturdays 10-11am

$225 per session

Winter session: Oct.13^th – Feb. 9^th  

Spring session: Feb.16^th – June 8^th 

The Northern Connecticut Youth String Orchestra was formed in October of 2011.  The mission of the NCYSO is to offer students of all ages exceptional music training, to motivate young musicians in the region, and to enrich cultural life in the area by cultivating the next generation of artists and audiences.
