Family Asking for Public's Help in Solving Father's Murder One Year Later
John Chakalos, 87, was shot and killed inside his home in Windsor last year.
One year after the murder of an 87-year-old Windsor man, his family continues to search for answers and is asking for the public’s help in finding the person responsible in the unsolved case, according to WFSB 3.
John Chakalos was shot and killed inside his home on Overlook Drive at this time last year and no arrests have been made.
Chakalos’ daughter, Valerie Santilli, told WFSB that the family is keeping their father’s memory alive in the hopes someone will come forward and prevent further tragedy.

They are asking anyone with information in the case to call Windsor police at 860-688-5273, according to WFSB 3.
Windsor police told WFSB that the murder is actively being investigated.
