SOUTH WINDSOR, CT - Firefighters extinguished a blaze at 11 Pam Lane Wednesday evening, according to fire officials. Crews arrived on the scene of a split-level home with a well-involved fire at about 8:30 p.m.
Power lines were down in the front yard. Neighbors reported the possibility of occupants trapped within the home. Crews made entry via second floor windows to perform a search, however had to retreat shortly after entry to each room due to the volume of fire and structural integrity.
