First Niagara Announces New Small Business Banking VP for Greater Manchester

First Niagara Financial Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: FNFG), announced the recent appointment of T. David Constant as Vice President of Small Business Banking. Mr. Constant will be responsible for working with businesses in the Greater Manchester area offering them First Niagara’s full portfolio of products, services and financial resources tailored to meet their individual business needs. He will maintain an office in Manchester and will report directly to Thomas Phillips, First Vice President and Small Business Team Leader.

“Dave brings with him more than twenty years of experience working in the small business, residential mortgage, appraisal, and corporate finance industries. We are thrilled to add Dave’s expertise, relationships and record of success to First Niagara’s small business team. ” said Phillips.

David joins First Niagara from TD Bank, where he served as the East Hartford Branch Manager and Small Business Lender, specifically working to secure loans for small businesses in the medical and manufacturing industries. Prior to his work at TD Bank, Constant was a Business Banker at Webster Bank, operating out of its South Windsor location, where he maintained current business loan portfolios and utilized community engagement to develop new business financing relationships.

“I have spent the majority of my career working with small businesses in the Greater Manchester area, and have gotten to know many business owners on both a professional and a personal level,” said Constant. “I look forward to using my years of experience as a banker and resident of Greater Manchester to assist in the growth and development of the many small businesses that call this part of our state home.”

Mr. Constant received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Communications from the University of Hartford. He currently resides in Somers with his wife and two teenage sons.
