Hofstra University, Hempstead NY

  • Jaden Maffe of South Windsor excelled during the fall 2023 semester at Hofstra, achieving a GPA of at least 3.5 to earn a spot on the Dean's List. Jaden's major is writing for the screen.

  • Nicole Paquette, Alyssa Dubicki, Melina Freeman and Natalie Petersen, all of South Windsor,were named to the fall 2023 President's List. Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.700 and above for the reporting term are named to the President's List. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits over each 16-week term or paired 8-week terms grouped in fall, winter/spring, and summer.
  • Neel Tucker and Anthony Manuel,both of South Windsor, were named to the fall 2023 Dean's List. Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.500 to 3.699 for the reporting term are named to the Dean's List. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits over each 16-week term or paired 8-week terms grouped in fall, winter/spring, and summer.

  • The Stamps Scholars Program is pleased to welcome its 18th class of Stamps Scholars, comprised of 272 exceptional students attending 36 partner colleges and universities across the U.S. and the U.K. Selected from over 473,000 applications, these Scholars are passionate about using their talents to make a positive impact on their communities, locally and globally. Aditi Malpure of South Windsor has been awarded the Stamps Scholarship and will attend the University of Connecticut and plans to study Molecular and Cellular Biology on Pre Med track on the Specialized Program in Medicine. Stamps Scholars are chosen for their academic excellence, leadership experience, dedication to service, and exceptional character. The approximate value of Stamps Scholarships for the new class over their time in school is worth up to $47.5 million.
